The Point Lookout community and the Thompson family came together for the dedication of our brand new “Matthew J. Thompson Community Room” in loving memory of Matt Thompson.

Matt Thompson was a dear friend to everyone at The Point. He loved having dinner in his favorite bar seat watching a game and talking to neighbors.

Matt always greeted everyone with a warm smile and a heartfelt handshake. He had so much pride in Point Lookout and was always willing to help neighbors in need.

This newly designed private room, complete with a large table and tv screen which Matt would have loved, is named in his honor in hopes that it will be a place to celebrate his life and legacy for years to come.
